For those who have perused our resources, you may have noticed our lessons, activities, videos, etc. are hosted on Gooru Learning, a completely free platform that helps students and teachers organize multimedia resources into collections.

If you plan to use NGPF resources next year in your high school classroom, but are worried about learning Gooru, here’s a chance to learn for free! Gooru is hosting two free webinars this summer that might be of interest to you:

• Thursday, June 11 — Gooru 101: How to Gooru, which will teach you the basics of finding, remixing, and sharing collections on Gooru.
• Tuesday, July 14 — Educator Workshop, during which an experienced Gooru Educator will share his or her best practices using Gooru in the classroom with students.

These webinars are run by Gooru and will not be specific to NGPF curriculum but are a great place to get started if navigating the platform has been a challenge for you this year or if you’ve never tried before.
