My Classroom Podcast: Rose Villery
Welcome to the third series of My Classroom, a 15-minute weekly NGPF podcast series that will highlight four rock star teachers who took unique paths to the classroom and collectively attended more than 600 hours of virtual professional development with NGPF in 2020. In this series, we will learn what remote teaching strategies they enjoy the most and how they use these strategies and the information they have learned in their own instruction.
Each week a new podcast will be posted for you to listen to on your drive to or from work, on a quick walk, or just when you need a little inspiration and encouragement.
In Episode #2, we hear from Rose Villery. Rose has taught financial literacy for the past 27 years and is committed to professional development as a way to continue learning and be the best teacher she can for her students. In this episode, Rose shares her experience as a teacher during this difficult year, including being displaced by a hurricane while she continued to teach and attend NGPF certification courses.
