Best of 2018...NGPF Product Releases

The NGPF educator community told us what they wanted and the team delivered in 2018.

Here were the top Ten NGPF product releases based on product announcement click data: 

10. Quiz Games on Kahoot, Quizlet and Quizizz! are great way for students to review that crucial vocabulary

8. Got Finance? School Search Tool provides data on personal finance course offerings at over 11,000 U.S. high schools 

7. The Cat Insanity game gives students a visceral response to debt, or in this case, cats, that they won't soon forget

6. Toss that checkbook exercise aside and teach your students how to Navigate Their Online Bank Account using this simulation. 

5. FinCap Friday brings current events to your classroom in an engaging way with a short Kahoot, an explainer video and a discussion prompt.

3. Teachers love our Interactive Library so we added New Interactive Activity Worksheets to make it even better!

2. As its name suggests, Teacher Toolkit provides educators with everything they need to succeed in the classroom from building content knowledge to tips on implementing NGPF

1. Over 100,000 students (and their teachers) have already played NGPF's new investing game STAX since its launch in November. Why? As students make 20 years of investing decisions in 20 minutes, they are learning valuable lessons about investing strategy and index funds.

Tim's saving habits started at seven when a neighbor with a broken hip gave him a dog walking job. Her recovery, which took almost a year, resulted in Tim getting to know the bank tellers quite well (and accumulating a savings account balance of over $300!). His recent entrepreneurial adventures have included driving a shredding truck, analyzing executive compensation packages for Fortune 500 companies and helping families make better college financing decisions. After volunteering in 2010 to create and teach a personal finance program at Eastside College Prep in East Palo Alto, Tim saw firsthand the impact of an engaging and activity-based curriculum, which inspired him to start a new non-profit, Next Gen Personal Finance.
