Using various industry estimates, LICKD has created a social salary calculator to uncover how many social media engagements are needed to earn the desired salary entered into the calculator. 

Before setting students free to use the calculator, you can take note of some classroom guesses and see how close they get: 

• How many YouTube views do you need to make $5?
• How many Instagram followers do you need before you can begin to make any money?
• How much will you earn per 1,000 views on TikTok?
