Retiring Ethics, Money and Me, Finding Work During High School Mini-Units
As a part of our summer curriculum updates, NGPF is retiring 3 mini-units from its catalog: Ethics, Money and Me, and Finding Work During High School. Keep reading to learn more!
Why are you retiring these mini-units?
These mini-units were created many years ago. Since then, we’ve actually embedded many of the core topics from these mini-units directly into our full units and courses. For example,
- Consumer Skills includes some ethics-related topics that encourage consumers to consider the impact of their purchasing decisions.
- Money and Me is largely covered throughout the Consumer Skills and Behavioral Economics units.
- Finding Work During High School has a lot of Career related content that is in major need of a refresh and overlaps with our Career unit. The NGPF Curriculum Team is actually adding a brand new Career unit to the Semester Course that will bring the latest content to your students!
Learn more about upcoming changes to the 9-Week, Semester, and Full-Year Courses that are happening this year.
When will these mini-units be retired?
The 3 mini-units and Nearpod decks will be available until June 30, 2023. Starting in July 2023, you will no longer be able to access these mini-units. We highly encourage you to check out the other units we mentioned above to bring the most up-to-date content to your students!
